MyTelescope.com does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

We recognize that people are concerned about their privacy on the web. Therefore we have taken measures at MyTelescope.com to secure our site to protect your information. First, when private information is being requested or displayed a secure port is used and data is encrypted and signed with a authenticated digital certificate. Our telescope control applet is also digitally signed so you can know that it came from MyTelescope and has not been altered.

In addition to these security practices, we went a step further doing something that only makes sense to us. We do not collect personnel information that is not required in order for you to use our service. As you can see from our membership registration page, we do not request and therefore we do not store detailed personnel information such as street addresses and phone numbers in our membership database.

Purchases made by credit card are handled seperately by a secure credit card processing service.

Users will be notified of any updates or changes to our privacy policy. Notification will be via the current email address in your membership account.
